I graduated from the Kutztown Area School District as the Class of 2001 and then obtained a degree from Juniata College. My wife and I are raising three children in our School District. With your support, I am looking forward to serving another term as President of the Kutztown Area Board of School Directors. I am very proud of what the Board and the Administration have been able to accomplish throughout my first term. Repealing the divisive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policy, in December of 2023, helped re-focus our School District's commitment to academic excellence and equal opportunity for all students.

The Board has also made significant steps in balancing the budget, including reducing transportation expenses. In May of this year, the Board successfully negotiated a mutually beneficial, taxpayer-friendly contract with the teacher's union. There is still more work to be done. I remain committed to continue to work for students, their families, and the taxpayers of our District.

I am a native to Berks County and have resided, with my wife, in Greenwich Township for nearly 20 years. We have two children in the Kutztown Area School District.

During my first term as school director, I have led the Facilities Committee and committed our school district to removing asbestos-containing materials from all school property. Having worked nearly 30 years in the construction industry, I understand very well how dangerous that material is and the need for cost-effective solutions that can be phased in.

Greenwich Elementary School deserves my special attention because it is an old building from 1955 that hasn't been renovated since 1999. Determining what should be done, in a manner that is fair to families and affordable for taxpayers, is going to require long-term planning and careful research on the true costs. With my knowledge and experience as a manager in the construction industry, I'm the right person for the job.

With your support, I want to continue the efforts of the Board of School Directors to reduce budget deficits, eliminate wasteful spending, and negotiate fair contracts with the teachers' union which respects our taxpayers and the fact that enrollment is declining. I want to continue to build on our efforts to make our district transparent and accountable to our community, preventing divisive, fringe ideologies from entering into our workforce and classrooms.
